Yasamin Keshtkar was born in 1984 in Ann Arbor, MI. She graduated from Tulane University in 2006 and received her MFA from Pratt Institute in 2008. She was one of two recipients of the Dedalus Foundation fellowship in 2008, a national grant recognizing graduate students of painting and sculpture in the US. She was recognized with a distinction of excellence in both fine arts and academics in her graduating class at Pratt. Her paintings are in private collections across the country. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
